AMALAwellness CIC, is thrilled to announce an amazing opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in their community. We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our projects across Teesside.

As an administrative assistant at AMALAwellness CIC, you will play a supportive role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. From managing day-to-day administrative tasks to assisting with event coordination and providing support to our team members and students, your contributions will directly contribute to the success of our projects.

There will be in-house training, as well as chances and support to attend regular CPD events and days in the VCSE sector.

You will have the opportunity to develop engaging content for our social media platforms.

The perfect candidate should have good organisational skills, be able to manage their time well, and handle multiple tasks with deadlines. It is important to pay attention to details, be a problem solver, and have a positive attitude. Experience in administration, content writing, or social media management is a plus – however we will supply all relevant training to the successful candidate.

AMALAwellness CIC – Empowering Lives, Enriching Communities

Chair Yoga & Exercise Teacher and Administration Assistant – £6,912pa.
12 hours a week (4 hours, 2 days a week, 6 hours 1 day a week (weekdays) ), £12.00 an hour. Part time. Must be available to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3rd day flexible.

Working from home primarily for admin, with in- person meetings and availability to attend in person events, in house and externally.

Deadline for application: 10th October 2024.

Primarily remote, but will be expected to attend in-person meetings when applicable.
Classes will be based in Teesside. The ideal candidate will be based in the Teesside area.

Successful applicant will have a 3 month and 6 month probationary period. Contract for 1 year.


Responsibilities:


Administrative Duties

• Manage bookings and appointments for clients, ensuring all relevant paperwork and information is recorded and organised. Supporting social prescribers and clients who come through this route.


• Take shared responsibility of the AMALAwellness CIC’s social media presence, ensuring regular updates and engaging content is posted on all relevant channels.

• Provide administrative support to the management team and staff, including diary management, invoicing, and handling correspondence.

• Assist with marketing activities such as creating promotional materials, creating engaging social media posts and making a monthly newsletter.

Supporting in person collation of qualitative and quantitative data through Cafe AMALA sessions to achieve this.

• Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is kept confidential and up-to-date. Keeping records of volunteer’s expenses.
