As an administrative assistant at AMALAwellness CIC, you will play a supportive role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. From managing day-to-day administrative tasks to assisting with event coordination and providing support to our team members, your contributions will directly contribute to the success of our projects.

In addition to administrative duties, this multifaceted role will also involve taking charge of writing a monthly newsletter to keep people informed about our latest initiatives, progress, and success stories.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and develop captivating content for our social media platforms. By harnessing the power of social media, you will help us reach a wider audience, raise awareness about our social enterprise, and inspire others to prioritize their holistic wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will possess organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a positive attitude are also essential for success in this role. Previous experience in administration, content writing, or social media management would be advantageous.

AMALAwellness CIC – Empowering Lives, Enriching Communities

Administration Assistant – £7,000pa.
12 hours a week (4 hours, 3 days a week), £12.00 an hour. Part time.

Deadline for application: 22nd September 2023.

Primarily remote, but will be expected to attend in-person meetings when applicable. Due to this – the ideal candidate will be based in the Teesside area.

Successful applicant will have a 3 month probationary period. Contract for 2 years.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage bookings and appointments for clients, ensuring all relevant paperwork and information is recorded and organised
• Take shared responsibility of the AMALAwellness CIC’s social media presence, ensuring regular updates and engaging content is posted on all relevant channels.

• Provide administrative support to the management team and staff, including diary management, invoicing, and handling correspondence.

• Assist with marketing activities such as creating promotional materials, creating engaging social media posts and making a monthly newsletter.

• Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is kept confidential and up-to-date. Keeping records of volunteer’s expenses.
