Our teachers blend Yoga Philosophy, Science and Meditation techniques with Asana (Postural practice of Yoga) – giving practitioners a well rounded approach to the practice of Yoga.
Dr Anqi Shen teaches our Gentle Yoga class on a Monday Morning in Linthorpe. The class is differentiated to suit all levels and abilities. Anqi has been teaching for many years and has her own regular daily practice. Anqi is experienced and knowledgeable, supporting a range of abilities within the class.


Aimee is an experienced, knowledgeable and qualified Yoga, Meditation and Chair Yoga and Exercise teacher. Aimee has spent time in India, Nepal and Thailand learning and studying Yoga and Meditation. Aimee teaches a popular Yoga and Meditation class on a Friday Morning in Nunthorpe.

AMALAwellness’ aim is to deliver yoga classes to aid with over-all wellbeing. We focus on gentle exercises and relaxation/meditation techniques as well as quality of life and over-all health (both mental and physical). Classes are suitable for both beginners and improvers with differentiated intermediate and advanced postures offered for progression.
