Amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Teesside, many individuals yearn for a way to unwind and reconnect with their inner selves. This is where AMALAwellness’ classes can play a transformative role, offering a sanctuary of calmness and rejuvenation. In this post, we will explore the various aspects of attending a meditation class with AMALAwellness and how it can positively impact your mental and emotional well-being.

Our experienced and knowledgeable teacher Aimee guides the group through short 10-15 minute meditation exercises, with a focus on relaxation at the end. The aim of the group is to learn different meditation and relaxation techniques, that are easily accessible and attainable for all.

The group shares experiences after each exercise, talking about what they found positive, challenging and with a chance to ask questions. Sessions are engaging, social and fun. Aimee blends exercises with philosophy, describing the science behind how meditation and relaxation affects the mind, body and nervous system.

The exercises can be taken away from class, to practice anytime – anywhere. Helping with reducing symptoms of anxiety and stress.

We supply equipment such as Yoga Mats, Bricks, Blocks and Chairs – Wheelchairs are welcome too!
