Celebrating 2 Years of AMALAwellness: Empowering People Through the power of Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation and Social Wellbeing

A big THANK YOU to all that have supported AMALAwellness, celebrating our 2nd birthday is a massive achievement!

We are thrilled to announce that AMALAwellness is celebrating its 2nd birthday! Over the past two years, AMALAwellness has been dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan through the transformative practices of Yoga, Meditation, Chair Yoga & Exercise – and Tai Chi.

AMALAwellness started out with Aimee working as a sole trader. Working alongside course members and staff at SSE (School of Social Entrepreneurs), AMALAwellness has grown to running 14 regular sessions across Teesside, with 5 teachers supporting 90-100 people weekly through our community classes.

This number is growing every week, with two new classes arriving in January 2024 to support older adults and neurodivergent adults with the power of Chair Yoga and Exercise in Central Stockton.

With a special focus on older adults and social wellbeing, AMALAwellness’ classes have not only become a space for working on physical and mental wellbeing, but a social hub too.

At AMALAwellness, we firmly believe in the power of working with both the body and mind to achieve over-all well-being. Through our classes and cafe AMALA sessions, we strive to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals of all ages can flourish, work on their physical and mental wellbeing, as well as connecting with themselves and others.
