Middlesbrough & Stockton classes
-Transitioning back to in person classes –

AMALAwellness – Yoga in Teesside will be starting classes back in person on the 17th of May 2021. Spaces will be limited and booking is essential. Please contact us if you wish to book a space in a class.
Classes will return to normal, if the roadmap is OK to follow on the 21st of June 2021. So, if you couldn’t book a space this time, you will be more than welcome to book then.
Protocol for classes
For all classes, a mask will be needed for entering and leaving the building (unless medically exempt).
You can remove the mask when seated on your mat/chair and practicing.
When leaving, a mask will need to be worn.
2M + must still be adhered to, so please respect others spaces when setting up and practicing.
Please sanitise hands before class and bring your own mat.
If equipment is used, Aimee will sanitise these before and after class.
Please keep your personal belongings by your ‘space’ to avoid unnecessary contact with surfaces around the hall.
– Looking after ourselves as we transition out of lockdown –
As we start to exit restrictions, many of us may be feeling stressed, anxious or exhausted. Even with the worst hopefully behind us, the effects can still be felt. If this is you, you’re not alone.
As things start to lift, getting used to the new normal will be challenging for us all. Make sure to look after yourself as we start to transition.

Yoga, meditation, Gentle exercise, relaxation and creating a stress-free home environment is so important, now more so than ever. At AMALAwellness we have a regular class timetable designed to help deal with the lockdown blues, maintain good mental health and keep active.

I like how this pandemic season makes us better in a creative stance. It is indeed making our businesses this new normal a better normal!
Goodluck on your next yoga classes. Hope many will come to your class as lockdown is slowly lifted.
I think everyone is facing moving forward in different ways, some are embracing the freedom as things open up where as others are being more reserved. There is no right or wrong, I hope your yoga classes help some get out and start enjoying life again
Love those tips for combating lockdown! What a crazy time!
It is nice to be able to get out and join in some in person wellness classes. They are very important for us, physically and mentally.
Love how we all find ways to turn things around when the situation calls for it. I love your list to combat lockdown blues! I’m still struggling with number 2 and 3.
It is lovely to see things returning to normal and your classes are returning – I have especially missed going for my classes.
It’s good that people can still access an online class. Not all are able to go out due to health reasons.
Thank you very much for the tips and they are useful, I agree that we should at least exercise a little every day. – Knycx Journeying
It’s so important to think about these things as we transition out of lockdown and it’s good that you’re making these changes to keep everyone safe x
That is amazing that you are offering classes for yoga during this time. Yoga is so important in our daily lives, especially now!
Good luck in moving face to face. The thought of coming out of lockdown even more is exciting but also a little scary.
Every activity that calms you down is perfect during the pandemic. I think I didn’t freak out like I did if I would have stuck to a yoga routine.
If I lived closer I would be there. I need some “me” time to relax and get my mind to shut up. haha
I would love to take your classes too but I don’t live in the area. If you decide to have them full-time online, I would have to consider it even if we are no longer on lockdown.
